Jelly Rollers

Based at the Elephant and Castle in south London the Jelly Rollers has produced a variety of trio, duo, and solo walkabout acts, musical ensembles, and installations which have performed at festivals, fundays, funerals and weddings large and small since the 1990's. From private Royal functions to small community fundraisers, all events have been successfully entertained whether it be sun, rain, snow or gales.

The emphasis is on self contained, low tech, environmentally friendly entertainment for all ages. No dressing rooms, toilets or refreshments required as it's all in the Low Emission Zone regulated van. All that's required is a performance spot and a parking space.

Like the buses in town the Jelly Rollers have now mostly gone "opo" (one person operational) and the company is now run by Keith Moore who is also performing with The Popticians - two John Peel sessions for Radio 1, The Klezmer Klub - Jewish and eastern european folk music, and performance artist Mel Brimfield - solo show at Whitechaple gallery London, commissioned for the UK government art collection.
