Are your acts Covid safe?
All our acts have reviewed the way they perform so they go above and beyond ensuring a safe and fun experience for everyone. We will provide risk assessments, a checklist and work with you to ensure a safe working environment before your event takes place. Will the act draw a crowd?
It goes against everything our industry stands for but in the words of Albert Einstein: ‘In the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity”
We have seen many successful examples where performances have taken place on people's doorsteps or street corners. These performances bring theatre to people rather than asking them to congregate in crowds. If you would like to explore new locations or ways of presenting work then give us a call.

We want our performers to share their passion with your community and we will recommend acts to suit your brief and situation.
Can I book local acts?
Yes! Traveling less makes sense for everyone right now. We can give you a list of performers based as close to you as possible.
What if I have to cancel?
We understand goalposts are constantly moving so we can be flexible and postpone your booking to another date if local or government restrictions prevent an event from going ahead.

What happens if I want to book some acts?
Give us a call, or get in touch by email or the website enquiry form. We will help you make your selection with up to the minute information on fees, availability and suitability for your event. When you are ready to confirm, our team will send you over the booking confirmation and handle all the logistics of getting the performers to you in good time on the day.
What’s the benefit in booking through an agent like you and not direct with an act?
Fool’s Paradise provides a ‘one-stop shop’ and will arrange all the booking, paperwork, imagery and all logistics for all the acts you book.
Help! I need an act for this weekend. Can you provide me with one at such short notice?
Yes. We are often asked to provide performers with only 24 hours’ notice and as we have access to their performance diaries this can be easily done
How do I know the act will be suitable for my event? Can I get more information from you?
Yes. Between us we have seen almost all the shows of the companies we represent so just give us a call and one of us will be able to provide a full description of the performance.
I can't see what I'm looking for on your website, can you help?
Yes. You can use the search field to search for a theme 'maritime' or give us a call or email and let us know exactly what you're after. We will help you narrow down the selection. Often our performers can tweak their costumes / shows to suit your theme. Just ask and we will see what we can do!
Can I put an act on hold whilst I await a final decision?
Yes. We will pencil in the act for you and only ask you to confirm if they get another enquiry for the date
Do your acts have public liability insurance and risk assessments?
Yes, and we hold copies of them all here in the office, together with their technical requirements so back up paperwork can be sent over instantly.
Your quote says that the company will need accommodation. Is this something I have to book?
No. We have a free of charge booking service for hotels, flights, ferries etc. We will make sure we find rooms for the performers at a good price and then add the cost to your final invoice.
I will need images and text for marketing purposes. Can you provide these?
Yes. We can send you over text and high-res images for all the companies we represent either as attachments or in a Dropbox or WeTrasnfer as soon as you require them.
Can you help me promote my event on social media?
Absolutely! We have lively Instagram, Twitter and Facebook channels and will happily share and write posts using specific hashtags and handles you send us.
