Meet Mr. & Mr. Burn, an explosive, chaotic, offbeat Vegas double act with a touch of disaster about them.

Listen as they fill the air with some sweet swinging and brass heavy music performed from their small but incredibly decadent bandstand.

But will they get through their gig without setting their whole world on fire?

Mr. & Mr. Burn is built around an oddly comic, musical world played and looped live on trombone, tuba, baritone uke and electronic drums.

Into this mix add contemporary clowning, physical theatre, puppetry, bespoke set design, fire and pyrotechnics to create an anarchic world of surprises where anything can and will go wrong!

In a Ramshacklicious show, the magma of chaos and anarchy is always there seething and bubbling away not far beneath the shifting sand of whatever bit of ordinary reality they're trying to persuade us they can pull off (in this case, the role of a popular entertainer). This time, when it inevitably bursts out, Jack does indeed manage to ride it (note I don't say control it) for a while before it literally blows up in his face (and everyone else's).

I love a show that defies definition; and Mr and Mr Burn is just that. With a manic energy and an improvisational tone, Mr Burn is desperate for us to be properly entertained and he will stop at nothing in his attempts: he tries to thrill us with ventriloquism, he belts out brass band oom-pah-pah at us, he bribes us with sweets and alcohol, he dresses up like a dodgy Mexican, he dances in his pants and even runs through fire for us. Nothing is too much if it raises a smile.
