Urban Canvas more detailsvideo publicity

urban canvasStreet Art Projects: 4 hours continuous or two 2 hour sessions.

All projects are fully interactive involving as many people as possible in creating large scale works of art on the street. This could involve:

Italian Chalking Art using pavement chalks and fine artists pastels to create beautiful ephemeral carpets of colour.

Street Painting using washable poster paints, large brushes, paint rollers and other action painting techniques.

Mixed Media using a mixture of the above and adding more ingredients just for fun!

Experimental using ‘untried’ techniques to produce something totally original and surprising!

All works are site-specific and original to each and every event and can be tailored and themed as required. All works and materials used are non toxic and do not damage the site in any way. Finished works can be hosed away with water after the event if required. We also provide clean up wipes and ‘wet ones’ for the public to use after participation.

Canvas On Canvas For areas or events where it may be unsuitable to work directly on the ground, we are developing a number of street art project working on giant canvas’s using paints and ‘action painting’ techniques.

Procession Building Workshops Designed for schools and community groups, we have developed a number of workshops specifically for use prior to an event or festival. Using recycled materials, see Dream Birds Photo (Cardboard, Coat Hangers and Bin Bags!) workshops usually take place over a number of days, more days the better! (minimum 2 days) and can involve up to 30 young people. We can also work with pre-school groups (see Piranhas Photo)

urban canvasOften imitated but never emulated, Urban Canvas are Masters of Visual Pavement Art. Creating enormous works that could grace any gallery of Modern Art. Works can involve up to 100s of people at a single event.

Italian Street Painting Also known as chalking art and dating back over 500 years; adults and children can become ‘screevers’ (pavement artists) for the day, in the true Mary Poppins style; helping to create a massive work of art that knows no boundaries.

Urban Action Painting Inspired by the works of Willem De Kooning and Jackson Pollock, they create a gallery of dynamic art using a variety of action painting techniques (mops, rollers, remote control gadgets and paint bombs) This is self-expression on a massive scale - throwing paint around and generally having fun with art.
