C.H.E.E.R.
C.H.E.E.R. your way through any event with two cheerleaders, four pom-poms and infinite possibilities. This irrepressible duo use dance, song and wild chants to cheer on anybody and anything.

Two Left Feet
Sequinned to the hilt and ready to Rumba, Barry and Yvonne have sadly been ostracised by the world of Competitive Ballroom due to an over-enthusiastic technique. Luckily, the lycra-clad lovelies remained undaunted, and adopted a mission to bring the world of Ballroom to the streets with the most unique version of the Pasa Doble ever seen. Definitely a quick-step in the right direction.
St Joan’s Ambulance
Accident prone and ready to serve, Joan and John, having failed the most basic of first aid courses, have set forth with crates of crepe bandage and piles of plasters. Using all available street furniture this cumbersome duo trip, fall and blaze a trail of self-destruction, turning the smallest obstacle into a mountain of trouble. Whether stuck under the wheel of a car or jammed tight amongst railings they still attempt to save people from the hazards of everyday life. Using slapstick and their own unique comedy style they will have you in stitches.
‘As for St. Joan, I’m sorry, I only have to look at them and I’m on the floor…It was difficult not to laugh when a certain Church member asked me why they didn’t know the precise workings of the triage at the local A&E’ Lorraine K Brown, Arts & Events Support Officer, Gedling Borough Council
“I must say they are thoroughly ‘nice chaps’ (and that includes Yvonne!)” Sue Bird, Events Officer, Cheltenham Borough Council
“Unique and energetic performance style” “High quality and accessible entertainment” – Stirling Council
“Visually dramatic, spontaneously comic” – Glastonbury Magazine
“The couple drew huge crowds as an alternative to everything else alternative” – ’95 Live
“Energetic, co-operative and uniquely talented ... a joy to work with” – Dick Finkl, Edmonton Festival, Canada
“One of my enduring memories of the festival will be of Barry and Yvonne leading an army of people along the prom in New Brighton” – Francisco Carrasco, Executive Director, Brouhaha International
