The world's most musically challenged classical string trio!
Pluck
The witty and inventive string trio who compete, ridicule, argue and seduce their way through Bach to the Beatles. Since winning the prestigious Tap Water Award at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Pluck have brought their madcap comedy and superb musicianship to sold out houses in the UK, Europe, and Australia.
As well as their internationally acclaimed theatre show, Pluck are also masters on the street. Edinburgh, Adelaide, Genoa, Jyvaskyla (Finland), and Glastonbury have all sampled Pluck crowd pulling performances, with audiences swaying and singing to classical masterpieces they didn't know they knew....
‘…At one stage we rushed Pluck into the foyer and they continued to play to a delighted audience who had followed them indoors…later, when the heavens opened again, the audience loved them so much they just stood there in the heavy rain and carried on listening’ Caroline Peacock, Festival Manager, Salisbury International Arts Festival 2006
‘It is impossible to exaggerate how good you are – your holding those small, fez-headed kids in the palms of your hands was but one miracle you pulled off. There were others…’ Dr. Bill Pickering, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
