Fraser Hooper more details video publicity
Forget scary make-up and squirty flowers, this is clowning with a contemporary edge, where elements of mime, physical comedy and vaudeville are fused with the traditions of the great silent clowns. Using no words, Fraser presents an award-winning show that has delighted audiences across the world. Taking his cues from the crowd, he creates spontaneous comedy routines from nowhere. Children become hat-stands, men become tables and pushchairs are balanced on his head. Through hilarious audience involvement, dextrous juggling and eccentric dance, the show builds to a thrilling finish with a giant death-defying leap into the arms of his willing volunteers. Shows can be tailored for any event.

Inside Out (duo starring Fraser Hooper & Matt Rudkin)
Two friends are locked out of the one place they call home, the street. With original music, live percussion, sound effects and a front door key these two clowns bring the house down and then move in. Contemporary clowning meets cartoon calamities, an inside out spectacular by two of the UK's finest clowns.
“Exactly what is so hilarious about Fraser Hooper is hard to pin down. Basically he doesn't really do anything. His silent clown act is so endearing, a series of gangly grapevine dances somehow become the funniest thing you'd ever seen. I cried more than when I stubbed my toe at primary school.” Angela Moriarty, The Nelson Mail, New Zealand
“Our festival favourite, which kept us to the end, hiccupping with laughter was Fraser Hooper. His act consisted of getting children and adults to help him do some fairly simple tricks, but he had a wonderful knack of relating to, and sending up, his volunteers.” Andrew Eames, The Times
“Fraser Hooper didn't say a word but nevertheless managed to convey everything from apathy and annoyance to encouragement and love -with even a bit of innuendo thrown in for the adults! He was quick, spontaneous, crazy, stupid, eccentric and charming. I was exhausted from laughing by the end” Julie Turner, Creu Cymru Venue Development and Touring agency for Wales.
“Fraser appeals to all ages. On every occasion his performance has been exemplary and his stylised clowning performance places him among the top of the classic clowns in the United Kingdom.” James Taljaard, Bristol Old Vic
