Well-crafted fake arms hold up a seafood tray in front of two fishmongers as they sell their wares. This allows them to secretly animate and puppeteer all the creatures and products they are selling from the underside. Beautifully made with exquisite attention to detail, see the prawns dancing and the Octopus come to life whilst witnessing stirrings in the jellied eel jar and a worrying seafood smoothie… Eye catching and superbly silly.

Hapless NT representatives (Trevor) Black and (Roger) Decker, two men who really know their drill. Using all of Fair Play’s trademark characterisations and quick witted improvisations, the NT are available to inform the populace about some of the lesser known historical facts of their region. Be it the history of the world's oldest bench, or a short story about a passing ‘celebrity’, the NT are always on hand for hilarity.

This comedy duo have a range of shows and walkabouts and have ventured into the world of the oriental carpet...

Really puts the freshness back into the rug trade. You'll find out how carpet can reduce crime, why bare boards can lead to baldness and what Tom Selleck has been doing for the last ten years. And then there's the genuine flying carpet. So Roll up! Roll up! your old carpet and come see this fantastic Fair Play show.

fair play - space cadetsSpace Cadets

Two Space Rangers are sent by the interplanetary police to hunt down dangerous aliens believed to be on Earth. Unfortunately, the pair seem to have forgotten their original mission and have become addicted to using their mind probes (fantastic head massaging tools) for the mutual pleasure that comes from reading the human mind.

Dressed in their best uniforms and cruising the country on SCABs (standard class astro buggies), which most humans mistake for beautiful 1950s children’s bumper cars, Fair Play’s characters create superb interactions with people of all ages.

Technical requirements:
Any performance area needs to be flat and firm, with access, as Bumper cars have a ground clearance of 7cm. Bookings of more than one day will require secure storage (minimum size 3 x 3 metres) with an overnight 13 amp power supply

fair play - dodgy boysDodgy Boys

Ron and Don, like all good East End boys, can supply anything ... at the right price.

You want cars, we can get you any motor you want within 24 hours (ignore the broken glass in the foot well). Just visit the ‘in jacket’ car lot and make your choice. You want protection, we can offer the boys to get the job sorted. You need cash, we’ve always got work for lads who are a bit handy and classy girls, down at our club, the Twisted Knife in Shoreditch.

Always looking to turn a few bob, Ron and Don bring a bit of class and respectability to any event. If we like it we’ll make an offer (you can’t refuse) to take it over for you.

fair play - come fly with meCome Fly With Me

Andy and Jamie present the award-winning and hysterically inaccurate history of flight, a physical comedy show of epic stupidity, all emerging from one small dustbin.

‘The Notional Trust won the horticultural committee over – eventually…! Apparently committee members were seen to be ‘dashing’ to protect the produce from the two ‘strange chaps’ talking to themselves about the size of marrows…’ Lorraine K Brown, Arts & Events Support Officer, Gedling Borough Council

“Their shady deals and chunky gold jewellery blended in with our crowd so superbly that most thought they were locals. They amused many with hilarious antics and I personally was almost convinced to buy a matchbox car. A must for any event.” Kelli Dopson, London Borough of Barking & Dagenham

“No festival would be complete without Fair Play. Not only were they hilarious but professional and a joy to work with" Gillian McCarrey, UZ Productions

“A wonderfully entertaining addition to our summer programme. We loved it!” Pete Gregory, Cardiff City Council

“In all the years I’ve been doing this, I’ve never seen such a great response to an act.” Events Co-ordinator, Swansea

“If you weren’t so funny, it would be scary.” Live Events Director, Vinopolis
