The Elf Hunters

The Yule Tide season approaches and snow lies thick upon the ground, where tiny footprints can be found... Elves!

Introducing Major Titus Foyle (Retired) and Capt Fergus Tresslock....... ‘The Elf Hunters!’ These two intrepid explorers are on a mission to capture the pointy-eared folk, and take them back to face justice for their crimes against Christmas

What The Dickens!

A three person Dickensian walkabout, with characters full of Christmas cheer and tidings of great joy. They stroll about greeting everyone they meet with Christmassy salutations, while constantly being baffled and startled by all the new-fangled inventions they come across, like horseless carriages and electric street lamps. This causes them to exclaim out loud: “What the Dickens is that?”

The Half Naked Christmas Chef

Steve ‘Woko’ Jackson, a spoof Australian TV cook gives a culinary Christmas demonstration that would make Delia Smith’s hair stand on end in a non-stop send up of every cooking show that has ever been seen. This chef is a master of culinary comedy and comes with his own cookery equipment and ingredients ready to make the most extraordinary Christmas dinner that has ever been seen.

The Candle

The candle is a quintessential Christmas motif, and this exquisite night-time performance piece will certainly provide that magical moment. Inside an 8-metre high transparent candle, bedecked with snow-white silks, an aerialist tumbles and turns attracting passers-by like moths to a flame. Complete with its own seasonal soundtrack, the performance culminates in a final flurry of swirling white flutterfetti.

The Heliosphere

A large-scale spectacular addition to any Christmas programme. A giant helium balloon floats above the audience, manipulated by two ground-based performers. The balloon flies into the sky and then dips down almost within touching distance of the crowd. A silver-costumed aerialist is suspended from the balloon, spinning from a swivel harness with spectacular effect. The balloon can be lit from within with a variety of special effects and changing colours adding extra impact for night-time performances.

Minimum 15 m height required.

The Diamond

A show with a big surprise! The Diamond blooms like a giant semi-transparent orchid as it inflates to a full height of 11m with an aerialist inside. Using lights and a specially created soundscape, the show combines a huge sculptural presence with the beauty of solo aerial dance. At the finale she vanishes.

The Conedancers

A 21st Century maypole! A boy and a girl parodying every folk dance you have ever seen are pulled up the sides of a giant 8m high air-filled cone. A sound system inside forces them to dance, bouncing around the outside on bi-rotational harnesses. Suddenly they realise that their soulmate is on the other side but cannot reach them and the finale is a riot of passion and longing, the music loud and upbeat. The cone begins to glow with lighting effects. Finally they meet by climbing to the very top and they sink together down inside as the cone collapses….

The Flatulator

Victorian walkabout with inventor Dr Southall at the controls. The Flatulator is a machine that could revolutionise transport as we know it. Supposedly powered by vast amounts of flammable gas (and resulting unpleasant sounds) this amazing creation comes complete with flapping wings and speeds equalling those of the common snail.

A Paine at Christmas

Interactive comedy street magic walkabout. The suave but totally inept magician and cameraman are back trying to film the “David Paine Christmas Special” live on the streets of your town. Under the expert direction of Barry the cameraman (ex Animal Hospital), David (ex Butlins) performs his ‘astonishing’ seasonal illusions and mind reading tricks to an astounded audience.

Booth of Christmas Delights

Two jolly stallholders in their mobile booth dispensing hilarious but priceless tips to give you the edge this Christmas including: advanced present feeling techniques; how to wear a paper hat with style; cracker pulling (win every time) and much, much more. With festive music and full laser light show this comedy walkabout gives families a chance to test their skills, win prizes and wear silly hats.

Cheesy Rider Christmas Special

Ronnie Ronco and Kenny K-Tel present a tribute to the bri-nylon underbelly of sixties ‘culture’. Arriving by moped and armed with a mobile cocktail bar, an upholstered moped and seventy square feet of crushed velvet, this set up makes a beautiful centrepiece for any street. They present a menu of authentic cabaret especially for this season of ‘good cheese’. From the starter of the egg flip cocktail to the main course of a pyromaniacs guide to flambe and a dessert of washing up avoidance tips. The show is self-contained for power, water, sherry and nibbles.

The Elves

Two comic elves and an impressive Christmas machine for testing children. With the enormous increase in the number of children, Santa has just got too busy to check the list a second time. To sort out this problem he has asked this pair of Elves to use their Goodometer behaviour monitoring machine to check as many as possible. Using the latest in Elf technology, the Goodometer is simple enough for even humans to use. Superb interaction and improvisation - Guaranteed Festive Fun!

A wonderful seasonal walkabout from the creators of Lady Christobel and her Butler. Fairy Snowflake, having fallen from one Christmas tree too many, has been pensioned off by Santa. This sparkling veteran is left wondering “Does nobody love a fairy when she’s forty?”

Her companion Norbert, grown too tall for the Toy Factory, has completed a re-training scheme. He’s very confident of finding an exciting new position by the ideal garden pond. Entertaining and enchanting, Snowflake and Norbert buttonhole passers-by to dispense wishes and wit, delight and drollery to all ages.

Flux

An inventive high-tech juggling performance incorporating world-class technique, intricate choreography, three performers and unique custom-built technology. Hodman Dodmanott and Sally Forth

An extraordinary puppet based walkabout from The Flying Buttresses. Meet Hodman Dodmanott and his beautiful wife Sally Forth. This memorable couple amble merrily through the crowds bringing laughter and joy wherever they go. Enjoy their hilarious attempts at Christmas shopping and carol singing (although singing may not be quite the right word!). These are ‘skin’ or ‘pod’ puppets where the operator is totally concealed within the costume to create a stunning illusion normally only seen in the motion picture industry. Unique. Can also be joined by their affluent in-laws, Cash and Carrie Moore.

Pink Angels

A comedy walkabout bringing snow, carols and a general warm feeling inside, these giant pink angels are on a mission to spread goodwill, and havoc, from their cloud on the fringes of heaven.

They’ll unfreeze even the scroogiest of hearts during the build up to Christmas and inspire festive merriment in all ages.

The Tap Dancing Turkeys walkabout

Bernice and Matthew, unplucked, live and acoustic, tour the land with their feathery combination of tap dance, turkey talk and shopping tips. Wandering entertainment and short static shows from two charismatic birds.
