A dynamic group of musicians, dancers and artists who combine break-beat percussion, reggae, funk, house and other dance influences - played on traditional Brazilian instruments - with a hot horn section, funky dancers, guitars, bass, electronics and some innovative vocalists. They raise the temperature, the tempo and the volume at stages, nightclubs, parades, open-air venues and a myriad of other events.

“They were absolutely amazing and were a huge hit amongst our International Students. We were very lucky to have CC play for us.” Alison Cullen, International Officer, University of Brighton

"Just don't call us a salsa band," said the Carnival Collective, who, despite their Latin American-style massed ranks and hip-swinging dancers, come from the Sussex coast - their sound not so much Batucada as live drum'n'bass..."
