‘The Bread & Butter chaps were so easy to deal with and the crowd really enjoyed them’ Caroline Peacock, Salisbury International Arts Festival
‘The Air Cadets helped the Van Dunk Brothers in their ‘dance/swim’ routine and thoroughly enjoyed themselves, it was so funny!’ Lorraine K Brown, Arts & Events Support Officer, Gedling Borough Council
“Bread and Butter Theatre were fantastic – they had the audience in stitches with their clever, daft and highly amusing walkabout characters” Huw Moseley, Arts Development Officer, Bromsgrove District Council
“I thought Garry was brilliant. His pitch and interaction in particular with the Leigh audience was outstanding. It is not easy earning the respect of young Leigh people, when you are dressed up in red tights and yellow underpants, however he did. It was a mutual respect too, as Garry did not deliver his humour with cheap jokes and humiliation. He was clever, spontaneous and considerate to his audience. I’ve a feeling Wigan and Leigh will learn to love him, and who knows, ‘cult status’ in years to come.” Chris Wyatt. Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council
“I was so impressed with the rapport you developed with the audience. It was great to see such a positive crowd reaction.” Diane Rivers, Birmingham City Council
“Bread and Butter managed to transform our town centre bandstand on a grey and rainy day into a little oasis of hilarity and bright sunny lycra.” Rosalind Lowry, Ballymena Borough Council
“The streets echoed with laughter as Gifted’s infectious rapport had people calling out for an encore. We will certainly be bringing him back to Jersey!” Sara Clews, Jersey Arts Centre
