Frolicked is an outdoor puppet theatre company. They create intimate and magical experiences for all kinds of unusual spaces and places. Their engaging, interactive performances include a host of memorable and beautifully designed puppet characters, and have delighted street and festival audiences of all shapes and sizes across Europe.
Frolicked has created bespoke puppet interventions for a variety of locations which now tour as standalone characters, including an octogenarian old couple (because you're Never Too Old), a ghost for the Bronte Museum (the beautiful Tabitha) and an usher for the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester (Arthur).
Beka Haigh is a director, puppet maker and performer based in Yorkshire. As well as running Frolicked, she has worked as a deviser, maker and performer for a number of theatre companies and arts organisations in the outdoor arts sector, including Avanti Display and the Whalley Range All Stars.
Mary O’Neill is a performer and maker based in Manchester. Mary has performed for some of the best and brightest theatre companies in the UK, and as well as being an excellent drama and arts facilitator, Mary has performed regularly for Frolicked since 2010.
